Thank you Wayne Wesson for the invitation to St. James A.M.E. Church for 32nd Annual MLK Banquet. From the opening prayer to the food, the Spirit was moving all throughout the evening and if you haven’t heard Kilay Cox pray… you are truly missing out.
The message, delivered by Denzel Brown, was beautiful and impactful. “Use your words” is a saying that will resonate with me going forward, a reminder I can carry into every part of my life as a Christian, a wife, a mother, and soon a State Representative.
It was encouraging, inspiring, and a powerful call to live with intention and purpose.
