Sheriff Tim Nichols and the Drew County Sheriff’s Office along with Drew Central School District have been working on the “Cat In The Hat” TikTok and Snapchat trend. Throughout the course of the investigation we have determined that those responsible are juveniles who have been identified and the case is still being investigated.
The Drew County Sheriff’s Office and Drew Central School District want to ensure the parents, students and staff that we do not believe anyone is in danger or was in danger. This was made up from poor decisions and trying to follow a trend. Your safety and education is priority to us.
