According to Monticello Arkansas Mayor Jason Akers confirms Ideal was in town the day after the special meeting and began repairing the pump at the well behind City Hall.
He said as a side note:
They found documents at city hall this week on the wells and this well was installed in 1963. So the pipes you are seeing here have not been seen in over 60 years.
