VAN BUREN COUNTY MISSING PERSON REMAINS LOCATED Oklahoma Man Charged In His Death

NEWALLA, Okla. — On September 11, 2024, Arkansas State Police (ASP), Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI), and the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office (VBCSO) arrested Bobby Gene Glover, 59, of Newalla, Okla., for the murder of William Ward, 34, of Clinton.

Ward had been missing since March 23, 2023.

On Thursday, September 5, 2024, ASP Special Agents and the VBCSO discovered Ward’s remains in the Gravesville community near Damascus in Van Buren County. 

Glover is being held on a $250,000 bond in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, pending extradition to Arkansas. He faces charges of First-Degree Murder and Abuse of a Corpse.
