Splash Car Wash & 10-Minute Oil Change announced a leadership transition that marks a significant milestone in the company’s history and reinforces its long-term commitment to Arkansas communities.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Paul Stagg has transitioned into the role of Chairman of the Board. His son, Matt Stagg, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer after serving as Chief Growth Officer. Paul’s leadership will continue to be an important asset to Splash.
In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board, Paul currently serves on the Board of Directors for the International Carwash Association, helping represent and advance the car wash industry globally.
The company also reintroduced its Board of Directors, which includes Paul Stagg, Matt Stagg, and Natalie Stagg Tschepikow.
Founded in Arkansas, Splash has grown steadily while remaining 100 percent family-owned and operated. Unlike many automotive service brands entering the market today, Splash has no private equity ownership and no outside shareholders. This structure allows the company to operate with long-term priorities, reinvest in its locations, and make decisions based on what is best for its customers, team members, and communities.
Splash is now operating in its second generation of family leadership, an achievement that most family-owned businesses never reach. Matt Stagg has spent more than 20 years in and around the business, learning operations firsthand and helping guide the company’s growth across Arkansas.
As investor-backed car wash brands continue to expand rapidly, Splash remains focused on building permanent operations in the towns it serves. The company was founded in Arkansas, is led by Arkansans, and continues to invest locally with the intention of staying for the long term.
The Stagg family’s Arkansas roots run deep. Paul Stagg is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. Natalie Stagg Tschepikow and Matt Stagg are graduates of the University of Arkansas, with Matt earning his MBA there.
With this leadership transition, Splash enters its next chapter with continuity, experience, and a clear commitment to remaining a family-owned Arkansas business for generations to come.
