The Sheriff’s Office, along with surrounding agencies, conducted Taser certifications for patrol officers.
Certification consisted of 4 hours of classroom instruction learning the electronic weapon followed by each officer receiving the “shock” of their lives to gain knowledge of the actual effects of the device.
Participating agencies include the Phillips County Sheriff’s Department, Elaine Police Department, and Marianna Police Department. Congratulations officers and deputies!
