It has been brought to our attention that a Level 3 Sex Offender by the name of Shaun Fleetwood of Desha County has been riding around the Northeast area of Drew County. During this time he has been known to trespass on properties and has been caught even stopping to speak to juvenile children. Our office has been in contact with Desha County and notified the parents of the juvenile in which he stopped and talked to.
I would urge the people in the areas of Florence, Coleman, Selma, Tillar, Winchester and all of the surrounding to be vigilant and urge your children not to talk to strangers. I want to also thank the people who have called into the office so that we can monitor this situation. I have instructed my staff to increase patrols in that area to ensure safety.
