The Highway 15 South Volunteer Fire Department has been made aware of the arrest of volunteer firefighter Jesse Milner on charges involving sexual offenses against a minor.
Our department is shocked and deeply disturbed by the nature of these allegations. The Highway 15 South Volunteer Fire Department had no knowledge of, involvement in, or connection to the alleged conduct that led to these charges.
Although Jesse Milner remained listed as a member of the Highway 15 South Volunteer Fire Department, he has not been actively responding to calls or participating in department operations for an extended period of time. Effective immediately, he has been released from the Highway 15 South Volunteer Fire Department and is no longer affiliated with our organization.
The Highway 15 South Volunteer Fire Department does not condone or tolerate conduct of this nature. These allegations do not reflect the values, standards, or character of our department or the dedicated volunteers who serve our community.
