Dallas County AR Deputy Wofford, Axsom BWC 08/15/25 Investigating Disturbance Finds Suspect At ParkOn August 15, 2025, at approximately 1pm. I, Deputy Tim Wofford, and Capt Keith Axsom responded to a disturbance in Sparkman. The Caller reported Mario Juniel assaulting a resident, and later it was reported that he had a knife.Upon Arrival at the scene all parties had left the area. Juniel was found at the city park. Juniel would not tell us about the altercation that was reported. when asked about the knife Juniel stated “What Knife”.After we were unable to talk, Juniel was placed in custody for Disorderly conduct and transported to Dallas County Jail. Upon arrival at the Jail Juniel was found to have (3) three knives on his person. The Victims were located and reported that Juniel had entered a residence on steele ave. confronted and threatened the resident and then began assaulting the occupant in the residence. Parties left the residence and the assault continued down the street at Kelly and Horne St. Additionally reported that Juniel had threatened to kill another resident of Sparkman. It is unclear at this time if it was during this altercation or before.On August 7, 2025, a report was taken at Juniel’s residence for Breaking or Entering and Vandalism. At that time Juniel was stating he was “tired of these people.” That he was going to handle it. that he would go lay up in the jail.
