On 3/6/2024 Arkansas State Trooper Quincy Harris made a traffic stop on 2016 Black Toyota Scion on U.S. Highway 65 in Dumas.
After smelling an odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle, Trooper Harris conducted a search of the vehicle, where he recovered Mushrooms (Psilocybin), which is a hallucinogenic, and Marijuana.
With the assistance of Deputy Wayna Green, 27 year old Joseph Davis of St. Louis, MO, was arrested and transported to the Dumas City Jail, where he was book for Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Speeding.
The case was turned over to the Desha County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
