Recently a post on Facebook claimed that certain people denied a building permit for 7 Brew Coffee coming to Monticello Arkansas.
South Ark Daily requested a comment form Monticello Arkansas Fire Department about whether a permit was filed for 7 Brew. Admin Kristin Garrison confirms no permit was submitted for 7 Brew.

I don’t know the person who posted this, and just because he edited his post after accusing the city representatives of corruption doesn’t make what he has done right. I can tell you what he said in his original post has no truth in it. If you want to start a business on Monticello call my office at 870-367-3076. We do not refuse new investment into our city. I will say emphatically that the City Of Monticello’s permitting officer has the highest level of integrity and has been praised by the developer who brought Arby’s to our city for her professionalism.
