On Tuesday October 31st 2023 at approximately 11:06 p.m., I Officer Cody Jackson of the White Hall Arkansas Police Department, was sitting stationary at Tasty Donuts monitoring Dollarway Road. I observed a black Chevrolet Camaro traveling east on White Hall Avenue and made a left turn on Dollarway Road and began traveling north. I observed the vehicle accelerate rapidly and squealed his tires. The driver did this twice in front of me. The vehicle was very loud. The vehicle passed in front of me as I pulled out of the driveway and turned on my emergency lights and sirens to pull the vehicle over.
The vehicle hit the brakes as if he was going to pull over and then sped up. I advised M.E.C.A. I was in pursuit of a black Camaro traveling north bound on Dollarway Road at speeds up to 130 miles per hour with light traffic. The driver of the vehicle fish tailed and almost lost control, slamming against the curb in front of the White Hall Community Center on Dollarway Road. The pursuit left the City Of White Hall and was headed towards Redfield. I advised M.E.C.A. that speeds are not slowing down. We passed BP gas station on Highway 365 and I observed the vehicle pull off of the road and the passenger jumped out of the vehicle and began running east behind a residence. I then observed the driver door open and a white male with shorts and red hoodie step out into the road way in front of my unit. I braked and saw the driver then run back east as well.
I advised M.E.C.A. the driver and passenger fled on foot but I had the car secure. Redfield Police arrived on scene with his K-9 along with deputy Shell and his K-9. A perimeter was set up and a track for the suspects done by the officers’s and their k-9’s. Redfield Police put out over the PA system to step out, that a K-9 would be released and they would possibly be bit. A female emerged from a back yard and was taken into custody. I confirmed she was the passenger in the vehicle.
The female was identified as Kimberly Villatoro of Hot Springs. She stated to me she was the driver of the vehicle. I advised her I knew she was not driving because I saw her jump out of the passenger side and a male jump out from the drivers side. Villatoro refused to be corporative and give any information about where the driver had ran off. I advised M.E.C.A. to run the license plate number, ALJ71J, through AC.I.C. M.E.C.A. advised the vehicle returned back to a Jordan Lee. I advised M.E.C.A. to run Lee through A.C.I.C / N.C.I.C. M.E.C.A. advised Lee was on probation and had a suspended driver’s license. When I worked at Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in Star City, I had arrested Lee before and could confirm he was the driver.
M.E.C.A. received a call and advised a caller stated she saw a white male running down Maggie Cove towards the wood line. Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies went to Maggie Cove and took the male into custody and brought him back to me. I confirmed he was the driver of the vehicle and it was Jordan Lee. Lee was sweating perversely and had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from his breath. I advised M.E.C.A. to send a duty wrecker to my location. Upon inventory of the vehicle, I located an empty bottle of Crown Royal in the back seat.
I asked Lee if he would be willing to go back to the Police Department and provide a breath sample to confirm if he had been drinking or not. Lee stated he would take the test. Smith Wrecker Service arrived on scene and towed the 2010 black Chevrolet Camaro to their lot located in Pine Bluff Arkansas.
Villatoro and Lee were both transported to the White Hall Police Department. Villatoro was issued Citation No. 037064 for Misdemeanor Fleeing, (Arkansas Statue 5-54-125), and was released to someone.
When I arrived at the Police Department, I read Lee his Arkansas Statement of Rights from which he signed. Lee provided a breath sample of .08.
Jordan Lee was issued Citation No. 037065 for Driving While License Suspended (Arkansas Statue 27-16-303), Careless and Prohibited Driving, (Arkansas Statue 27-51-104), and D.W.I, (Arkansas Statue 5-65-103). Lee was transported to Dub Brassell Detention Center and booked in for the Felony Fleeing, (Arkansas Statue 5-54-125).
