On Wednesday March 26th 2025 at approximately 12:40 hours I (Officer Brown) was notified of a truck that had hit the awning at the Shell Gas Station at Michigan & N Buerkle.
Upon my arrival I observed a farm truck that hauls grain with the auger raised. There was a significant amount of damage done to the overhead awning over the diesel pumps. I ran the tractor license plate. I advised dispatch to print and hold the information for me.
I spoke to the driver of the truck who stated left the fuel pumps. I gathered the drivers information and the insurance information and explained that a report would be available the following day.
