For the safety of students and staff, the Hampton School District will begin school on a one hour delay: 9:00AM on Monday, February 2, 2026. School will dismiss at normal time.
Due to the unpredictable condition of all county roads, alternate bus routes will be used for the morning and afternoon. If you need transportation please have your student at one of the following locations. Buses will be at these locations from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM. Buses will drop off students at these same locations between 3:25 PM to 3:40 PM.
Mr. Scarbrough’s bus – Will be at the turn to St. Pauls Church and Little Bay Road. And the bus will run Archer Street and 2nd Street on the return trip.
Mr. Sanders’ bus – Will be at the old Harrell Store
Mr. Sawyer’s bus – Will be at the Tinsman Fire Station
Mrs. Laura Williams’ bus – Will be at the Thornton Car Wash
Mr. Cris Cross’ bus – Will be at the Locust Church
All faculty and staff will report to work at the normal times – 7:30 AM.
Breakfast will be served 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Elementary after school tutoring will be delayed until Tuesday, February 3rd.
SAU Tech Bus will leave at the normal time.
