The 2025 Annual School Election for Dumas and McGehee School Districts will be held as follows:
McGehee School District Election Day is May 13th at the McGehee Municipal building from 7:30 a.m. -7:30 p.m. Early Voting will be held at the Desha County Courthouse in Arkansas City Tuesday May 5th – Monday May 12th during normal office hours, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (No Saturdays)
Per Statute 5-14-102, Due to no opposition for Dumas School District there will be no polls open on Election Day. There will be Absentee and Early Voting only at the Desha County Courthouse in Arkansas City Tuesday May 5th – Monday May 12th during normal office hours, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (No Saturdays)
Absentee Count and Tabulation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Desha County Courthouse in Arkansas City on May 13, 2025.
Early Voting and Election Day Tabulation will begin at 7:30 p.m. after the polls close. This will be held at the Desha County Courthouse in Arkansas City.

Objections to election officials or other complaints may be filed with the Desha County Election Commission or the State Board of Elections.
