At 11:24 pm on Friday March 14th Monticello Fire Rescue was paged out to a single vehicle accident on Garnett Rd.
The vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in Sawyer Branch Creek. The driver was removed from the vehicle and transported by Southeast Emergency Medical (SEEMS).
Thank you to Drew County Sheriff deputies who went into the creek to assist with the rescue.
