On Wednesday April 9th 2025 at approximately 13:24 hours (1:24 pm)Monticello Arkansas Police Department were dispatched to a two vehicle accident with injured by Breakers.
Monticello Arkansas Police Department officers Austin, Carpenter, Harvey arrived on scene at approximately 13:25 hours (1:25 pm).
MPD officer Austin spoke with the driver 2 while Officer Carpenter gave aid to driver 1.
Driver 2 stated that she came to a stop because she was getting ready to make a right turn into Breakers parking lot when she was struck from behind by driver 1.
Officer Harvey went to Paint & Lightning Plus which is directly across from Breakers and retrieved video footage of the accident.
Officer Carpenter assisted with getting driver 1 stable and into the ambulance while also getting information from him.
Officer Austin found driver 1 at fault for the accident and citations was issued to driver 1.
Driver 1 was taken by MASI to the land pad so he can be air lifted to a trauma hospital.
Reggie’s Lock & Keys took possession of driver 1’s vehicle.
