On Tuesday October 15th 2024 Monticello Arkansas Fire Department was paged out to an equipment fire on HWY 138 near 4C Lodge.
Once on scene it was determined the equipment fire could not be reached by fire apparatus. Firefighters filled backpacks and hiked to the equipment location to ensure the fire did not spread.
Foresty was called but was already engaged in other wildland fires.
