On Saturday October 26th 2024 at 11:38 pm Monticello Arkansas Fire Department was paged out to a structure fire at the S. Pine St mobile home park.
The mobile home was fully involved upon arrival. Upon entry, the fire attack team located and removed an adult female victim. The attack team returned to find a second minor victim.
The adult female victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The minor was transported to Baptist Health Drew County. His condition is unknown at this time.
