Monticello AR Fire Department Battled Apartment Fire At Meadowview Apartment Complex On HWY 425 S 1/30/26At 2:22 pm on Friday January 30th 2026, Monticello Arkansas Fire Department was paged out to a residential structure fire at Meadowview Apartment complex on HWY 425 S. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they were met with heavy fire conditions in a 2nd floor unit. Firefighters began working to put the blaze out and were able to quickly bring the fire under control. Several apartments were damaged due to smoke and water. Monticello Firefighters Association worked with Pauline Baptist to secure accommodations for the displaced tenants.
