At 2:28 p.m on Thursday June 6th 2024 Monticello Arkansas Fire Depatment was paged out to a report of a house on fire in the corner of Conley St & E Jackson Ave. The 911 caller called dispatch back saying they believe it is coming from the sewer line. Dispatch called the city to ask if they was smoking any of the sewer lines. Dispatch then advised firefighters that the City of Monticello Arkansas was smoking the sewer lines it turned out to be a false alarm.
