On January 14, 2026, Sergeant Ryan Johnson was dispatched to Redacted N Russell St for an unwanted person. Upon Sgt. Johnson’s arrival, he was met by the owner of the home, Sherry Galloway (DOB: Redacted), and the subject, Aubriunna Williams (DOB: Redacted), who was arguing and being loud with Ms. Galloway. Once Ms. Williams went back into the house, Sgt. Johnson asked Ms. Galloway what was going on, and she stated that Ms. Williams had been drinking and started being loud and disrespectful in front of her kids. She stated that she was tired of it because she was nice to let her move back in around November, but she can’t take the drinking and being disorderly anymore. Sgt. Johnson stated that due to the fact that Ms. Williams has an established residence, Ms. Galloway had to go through the eviction process unless she agreed to leave the house on her own. While talking to Ms. Galloway, Sgt. Johnson heard Ms. Williams out in the backyard yelling. Sgt. Johnson then went to the backyard to place Ms. Williams in handcuffs to arrest her for disorderly conduct. As Sgt. Johnson approached her, she was on the phone and yelling at Sgt. Johnson, saying, “You’re going to have to kill me.” Sgt. Johnson then drew out his department-issued Conducted Energy Weapon, the Axon Taser 7, and gave Ms. Williams multiple commands to stop walking backwards and that she was under arrest or she would be tased. After several attempts to ask her to stop walking away, Sgt. Johnson deployed his CEW after saying “Taser” 3 times. After deploying the CEW, Sgt. Johnson observed that only one of the two prongs connected, and Ms. Williams was still able to keep walking away. Sgt. Johnson then deployed the second shot of his CEW, and only one of the prongs from it connected, completing the circuit needed to be affected. Ms. Williams then locked up and went to the ground face first, and Sgt. Johnson immediately came up to restrain her. Due to her still fighting Sgt. Johnson, he then activated the CEW again on her back, which then caused her to comply and be handcuffed. After being handcuffed, the CEW prongs were then pulled out, and she was checked for any injuries, which she did not have any at the time, by Sgt. Johnson. Ms. Williams was then escorted to Sgt. Johnson’s police unit and secured in the backseat. Sgt. Johnson then asked for assistance from Patrolman Cole Smoke due to the way Ms. Williams was acting because he had a prisoner cage in his unit and Sgt. Johnson did not. She was then transported to the Dallas County Detention Center to sober up and was issued two citations to appear in court: disorderly conduct and refusal to submit to arrest.
