On the date of September 24, 2025 members of the Drew County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cassidy Hill (24) of Monticello and Charetha Foster (24) of Monticello in reference to a investigation starting on September 17, 2025. It is alleged that Hill and Foster took another female out into the rural part of the county against her will. The victim was then assaulted, her property stolen and left by Hill and Foster. The suspects (Hill and Foster) were arrested on the charges of Aggravated Assault, Battery 2nd, Kidnapping and Theft of Property.
They were taken before Circuit Judge Robert Gibson III and given a bond of $50,000 a piece. They are currently being housed at the Detention Facility until bond is made. The case is still under investigation at this time.
