Sheriff Mitch Grant is proud to announce the formation of the Desha County Sex Offender Compliance Team. This is a collaboration with both the Dumas and McGehee Police Departments. Each department will assign an Officer, who will be deputized, to work with Deputy Alan Hernandez, to work as a team across our county to keep sex offenders in compliance, and to find and arrest those who are not. This is another example of the Law Enforcement agencies in our county working together to make our communities a safer place to live and raise a family. Thank you to Dumas Chief Kieth Finch, and McGehee Chief Terry Donaldson, for a great working relationships between our agencies.
