We hope that you have a safe and relaxing weekend. As always, thank you for the support that so many of you give our Sheriff’s Office, and Central Dispatch. Know that our team members are out there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you in any way we can. From our dispatch team taking your call for help, to our Deputies who risks their safety responding to those calls for service, we are here to be the best product that we can be, to try to make Desha County a safe place to live. Continue to watch out for our local farmers as harvest will hopefully get started back up when it dries out. Be patient with the grain trucks and farm equipment moving slowly on the roadways.
