Crossett Arkansas Police Department Issue Press Release After Fight Breaks Out At Crossett High School After UAM Crossett Graduation

On June 26, 2025, at approximately 1520 hours, CPD was dispatched to Crossett High School in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, Officer Christopher Riordan observed a large crowd gathered in the area. He immediately began dispersing the crowd for safety and scene control.

While dispersing the crowd, Officer Riordan observed a female subject holding a towel to her head, with visible blood on the ground near her.

The female was approached and asked what had occurred. She stated that she had been “jumped by four Black females and one Black male.” She further advised that she could identify some of the individuals involved due to prior altercations with them.

EMS arrived on scene shortly thereafter and assessed the victim’s injuries. EMS personnel advised that the female would require stitches to close the head wound.

This case is under further investigation to identify and interview all involved parties.
