Position Title: Advocate Supervisor
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Status: Full-Time (vacation, sick leave, mileage) Salary Range: $33,280/$16.00hr
Position Description: CASA of the 10th Judicial District is seeking an Advocate Supervisor/ Recruiter to recruit, train, retain, monitor, coach, and build strong relationships with CASA volunteers. The Advocate Supervisor/ Recruiter is responsible for providing staff management to CASA volunteers, ensuring that children assigned to the CASA program receive appropriate advocacy services.
Qualifications:
Some evening hours will be required in order to provide support and training for CASA volunteers. This is a full-time position that may require working outside of the office and taking calls when necessary from the volunteers on the caseload.
● Bachelor’s degree or related field experience.
● Ability to work cooperatively with a wide array of
personalities.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong organizational skills.
● Basic knowledge of computers and word processing.
● Knowledge of the juvenile justice and/or social services associated with child abuse.
● Commitment to CASA goals and mission.
● Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
● Must undergo a criminal background and child abuse
central registry check.
