On Sunday July 21, 2024 at 12:42 a.m., the Camden Police Department was dispatched to the area of Carver Courts in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers observed Jontavion Higgs lying in the roadway. He was transported to the Ouachita County Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. During the investigation, witnesses identified the suspect as Dorrian Cunningham.
Cunningham was driven from the scene by Alexia Radford.
Warrants have been issued for both Radford and Cunningham.
