On July 18, 2025 at approximately 11:10pm the Drew County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to J-Birds Convenience Store in Wilmar in reference to an armed robbery. Upon the arrival of Deputies at approximately 11:13pm it was discovered that the robbery took place at approximately 8:40pm. The armed suspect had come into the store demanding money and products before leaving on foot.
