ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team traveled to Arkadelphia, Arkansas to open their conference series against Henderson State University on Friday evening. The Blossoms came out of game one with a 3-2 win over the Reddies.

Courtnee Sensibaugh kicked off the offense in the second with a two run home run, scoring Lexie Smith on the drive.
UAM saw another run in the fifth when Grace Neal brought home Kennedy Cox on a single up the middle.
The Reddies scored two runs in their last chance inning, but were unable to take back the advantage from the Blossoms.
The win pushes Arkansas-Monticello to a 18-21, 10-11 GAC record for the 2024 season.

The Blossoms are back in action Saturday, April 6 to close out the series with Henderson State University with a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 12:00 p.m. with the second game to follow.
